NSERC Postdoctoral Fellowships Program
The Postdoctoral Fellowships program provides support to a core of the most promising researchers at a pivotal time in their careers. The fellowships are also intended to secure a supply of highly qualified Canadians with leading-edge scientific and research skills for Canadian industry, government, and academic institutions.
Award: $45,000 per year for 2 years

Test Your Concept Sessions: SSHRC PG/PDG and NSERC CREATE
Opportunity: Interested in applying for a major funding opportunity but don’t know where to start? Participate in a Test Your Concept session this fall!
SUPPORT Committees are hosting TYC sessions to engage with researchers interested in applying for major funding competitions and to provide feedback and guidance early in the development process. Any faculty members interested in receiving feedback on a research proposal are encouraged to participate. TYCs are constructive sessions, helpful for applications at any stage of the development process.

If you would like to participate in one of the Test Your Concept sessions, please:
RSVP to email@example.com indicating a preliminary project title and your preference of committee by October 19th or 28th (depending on the competition for which you are preparing). You will receive an email confirmation of your assigned timeslot; and
At the same time (by October 19th or 28th) provide a half-page Concept Summary. This will ensure that the Test Your Concept panel can effectively engage and provide constructive feedback during the session. If your project is a re-submission, please submit an additional half-page (both sections should not exceed one-page total) outlining how the project has evolved since its first submission.
Please note that Test Your Concepts are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. It is strongly recommended that you register early as sessions tend to fill up quickly.

e2i a funding opportunity for postdocs or research associates and their PIs to get started on the pathway to translating their research into practical solutions.
